DIY Christmas Gifts - Candy Cane Soap

Hello everyone!

This is the last week of our DIY Christmas Gift, we hope you have enjoyed all great ideas shared through these weeks!
For this last Christmas DIY Gift post we have a sweet idea, very easy to make and great for a Christmas gift: Candy Cane Soap!
The idea was taken from Gluesticks blog.
You don’t have to be an expert in making soap. You only have to buy a bag of glycerin chunks, melt them down, add color and a scent, and then re-shape them into molds. Very easy!
Here is the link to see the complete post: Candy Cane Soap

DIY Christmas Gift - Ideas for Everyone

Given that we found so many DIY ideas for Christmas and time is running out we decided to make a feature of various gift ideas, just a short description and you can find the whole post by clicking on each provided link. There are just so many awesome ideas that we want to share with you and don't want to miss any :)

Here is the first one: Rhinestone Monogrammed Ornaments by The Creativity Exchange.

It is an easy to follow tutorial on how to create your own ornaments with a personalized touch. And you all know how much I love bling, so this obviously got my attention immediately. Just get your ornaments in your favorite color and then add rhinestone stickers that you can get at any craft store and in just a matter of seconds you have a wonderful new ornament. Great to give to your family, especially grandparents, or adorn your home. Please read the whole instructions here.

Next is a great gift idea for Dad. It is just so cute! My husband loves beer (me too actually, lol), so I know this would make a great gift for him: Reindeer Rootbeer/Beer by Life of a Modern Mom.

This is not only cute, but also very fast, easy and cheap to make. Just wrap brown pipe cleaners around the tops of the bottles and twist smaller pieces around to make antlers. Then use the hot glue to glue on the eyes and red pom poms to make the reindeer face. That's it! So easy to do. See the whole blog post here.

Ok, so far grandparents and dad are covered, so next is a great gift idea for friends and the best is that this is also an awesome activity for kids, DIY Snow Globe by I should be mopping the floor.

You will need jars, some items to fill the jars which you can buy at any Dollar Store, bottle brush trees, glycerin, bleach and lots of glitter. There are a few steps involved, including gluing and which kid doesn't love that! So make sure you read the tutorial here.

Last but not least, how about we share an awesome gift idea for teachers, here is a wonderful post for Christmas Jars from will Cook for Smiles.

The cookies are not finished until you find a nice Christmas themed jar to put them in, right? Just follow the simple instructions on how to decorate some regular jars and convert them into the awesome pictured Christmas jar. You'll neeLarge Mason jar, Martha Stewart glass paint, red, white silver and gold, Martha Stewart Christmas adhesive stencils, Paint dauber from Martha Stewart ,White and Red thin ribbon. Get the whole step by step guide here!

Remember that we have covered almost all important persons with these gifts. Notice I said "almost", someone is still missing, but that's dad's job to find out what to do, right ladies?

Hope you enjoyed these ideas and see you next week!
